The pronoun 几 jǐ is used when asking about age or number of calculabe things, but only to the number of 10.

How many bottles of beer do you have? I have nine bottles of beer.
Note: Pay attention to the stroke order and differences between the character "how many" and "nine":

Classificators are used to classify objects. We put them before noun in order to clasify its number, form, etc. Classificators should be placed after quantifier or pronoun:

这碗汤 - this bowl of soup
Classificators can also be an autonomous word.

Particle ba should be put at the end of the sentence. It implements many meanings, ie.: order, approbation, incentive.
